Samuel G Todd
Samuel G Todd was a private in 3rd Alabama Cavalry Company F I think.
He enlisted from Selma in Dallas county and survived the war. And in 1907 was living in Plantersville, Talladega county, Alabama.
He is brother to Edward Todd.
It looks to me like Samuel Todd was in the 4th Alabama Infantry company A in 1861 and then was discharged in Oct 1861. Then in March 1862 he join the 3rd Alabama cavalry company C from which he was discharged in June 1862. Then he must have re-enlisted or actually been transferred because he supposedly was with his brother Edward in battle of Perryville in Oct 1862.
